Alwin Fitness is a fitness, nutrition, recovery and coaching application. This Privacy Policy explains how Alwin Fitness accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes personal and sensitive information when you use the app.
Depending on the features you use, Alwin Fitness may process account information such as your email address; profile and fitness information such as goals, body measurements, activity level and preferences; workout and nutrition information you enter; meal photographs you choose to scan; and health and fitness information that you explicitly permit the app to read from Android Health Connect.
Health Connect data requested by Alwin Fitness may include steps, active calories burned, sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate and heart rate variability. Alwin Fitness only accesses health data after you grant the relevant Android permissions.
We use your information to provide and personalize Alwin Fitness features, including readiness and recovery insights, workout and nutrition tracking, fitness coaching, strength and training suggestions, nutrition targets, meal analysis and AI-generated guidance.
Health and fitness information is used only for user-facing health, fitness, nutrition, recovery and coaching functionality. We do not sell Health Connect data or use Health Connect data for advertising.
Some Alwin Fitness features use Alwin AI. Information relevant to a request may be sent securely to the Alwin AI backend and to OpenAI to generate coaching responses, nutrition guidance or meal-photo analysis.
When you choose to scan a meal photograph, the photograph is uploaded for analysis. The Alwin AI backend processes the uploaded image in memory and does not intentionally retain the meal image on the backend after the request is completed.
Alwin Fitness uses service providers to operate the app. These include Supabase for authentication and application data services, Railway for backend hosting, and OpenAI for AI processing. Information is shared with these providers only as needed to provide the features you request, operate the service, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.
If you use a Google Play subscription, Alwin Fitness sends the Google Play purchase token to the Alwin AI backend, which verifies the purchase with Google Play. Subscription entitlement information may be stored in Supabase, including the product and base plan, subscription status, trial or current-period end dates, auto-renew status, verification timestamps and purchase token, as needed to manage subscription access and help prevent the same purchase from being linked to multiple accounts.
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
You choose which Health Connect permissions to grant. You can revoke Health Connect access at any time through Android or Health Connect settings. Alwin Fitness also provides privacy controls that allow you to disable use of health data for readiness, control whether health and readiness information is sent to the Alwin AI backend and OpenAI for personalised coaching, and disable use of workout history for suggestions. The AI health-sharing control is off by default and can be changed at any time.
Account, profile, nutrition and application data may be stored using Supabase. Alwin Fitness uses authenticated access, encrypted HTTPS connections for data transmitted between the app and cloud services, access controls, limited server-side credentials and other security measures intended to protect personal and sensitive information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
Server-side secret credentials are not embedded in the mobile application.
You can request permanent deletion of your Alwin Fitness account and associated application data at any time, including if you no longer have the app installed or cannot access the in-app account deletion feature.
Request account deletion outside the app: email Alwinperformance@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Alwin Fitness account and use the subject Alwin Fitness account deletion request. We may ask you to verify that you own the account before completing the request. You do not need to reinstall the app to request deletion.
If you still have access to Alwin Fitness, you can also delete your account directly from the account deletion feature in the app.
Deleting your account removes the Alwin Fitness account and associated application data. Information that must be retained temporarily for security, fraud prevention, backup recovery or legal obligations may be retained only for those purposes and removed when the applicable retention requirement ends.
We retain account and application information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Alwin Fitness, maintain security and meet applicable legal obligations. Local app data remains on your device until it is cleared, removed by the app, or the app is uninstalled, subject to Android system behavior.
You can clear local health-related data from the Data & Privacy screen.
You may decline optional Health Connect permissions, revoke previously granted permissions, change Alwin Fitness privacy settings, clear local health-related information, or delete your account. Some features may be unavailable or less personalized when relevant permissions or data use settings are disabled.
Alwin Fitness provides fitness, nutrition, recovery and coaching information. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions. Alwin AI guidance is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
We may update this Privacy Policy as Alwin Fitness develops or our data practices change. The current version will be published at this location with an updated effective date.
